The Kano Force Kit is a product designed in collaboration with Disney, which blends Kano’s signature build-it-youself experience and aesthetic with the world of Star Wars. We set out to create a device which allows users to generate ‘the force’ using four infrared proximity sensors in a cross pattern, detecting movement and basic gestures in dimensional space. Create apps and games by programming your movements with simple block based code. The lights on the device react to your movements, giving real time feedback your position in space. As with all Kano products, we designed the force sensor to be as easy as lego to assemble, without any screws or fixings
